I took this one of Prime Minister John Chretien just before he was
about to
address the IOC General Assembly in Prague to pitch them on
Vancouver
hosting the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The smile on his face was
even
bigger after he left the successful presentation. Trudeau was my
favorite
Prime Minister and I wish I had had a chance to photograph him.
Chretien
comes a close second for charisma and I think that this shot
captures some
of it. Although it is a bit crooked, his winning smile is
captivating
compelling and infectious. I like the shot because I think it
portrays him
as a real winner and a real leader. The lighting in the shot is also
very
good, with Chretien standing out even more because of the technique
I used. |
